Agenda:
------------
1) Ishikawa Fundraiser Dinner Party (Ishikawa)
Ishikawa has campaign t-shirts for sale. She will have them at the fundraiser dinner on the August 18th. She is still trying to determine if she will have the late September fundraising event. Butcher suggests getting in contact with Judy and Larry Trompeter to help with phone calls. Butcher has a sample phone script used in the Nader campaign that he will send to Kness, who will scan it and send it to Ishikawa.

2) Starting the Douglas Green Party local (Chad McCool)
Could not make it to the meeting. He will make the next one.

3) Starting the Arapahoe Green party local (Tom Kelly)
Kelly will head up getting this local going and research what paperwork needs to be filled out. Bylaws will also need to be created. Kness will send to Kelly all the Arapahoe Greens in an Excel spreadsheet. Kness will research what is required by the GPCO. Fred Badger may be from Arapahoe.

4) DGP termination with the state
The Colorado SOS terminated the DGP and its electronic fillings. They have determined we should not file with them. Meyer must go to the Denver County Clerk and set up the local party there. It is indeterminate how this will affect the multiple county coverage of the DGP.
Holcomb is working thru getting the Jeffco Greens set up in Jefferson County. He has filed some of the paperwork, and is waiting for documents back.

5) DGP / JG Town Hall meeting featuring candidates, etc. (Chandler)
Chandler is proposing a quarterly meeting of the locals to promote the candidates and locals. He is thinking late September early October. We need to find out if LaMarche is going to make it into the State around that time frame. We need to get this confirmed.

6) Including auto-posts on DGP / JG officer contact info. Done once per month on DGP lists. (Butcher)
Butcher will check the discuss-denverGreens settings and see if there is an auto-announce setup. If there is, he will remove it.

7) Consider other meeting places (Meyer - Speakeasy Cafe near 38th Ave and Tennyson)
Meyer proposed that we try out the Speakeasy on tennyson and 38th for the next meeting. He said it is quiet in the evening, and they have break out rooms. This was agreed to by consensus. At each meeting, we will consider where to meet next until we find a place we are comfortable in.

8) Go Green! Rally recap (Kness)
The rally was successful with 60 individuals attending.

9) DGP needs 2 additional officers

10) Phone bank organization to reach DGP / JG greens - Need to get this going.
Ishikawa is going to head up getting names out to poeple to call. Kelly work handle Arapahoe county.

For next meeting:

11) Publicizing the meetings (Kness, Ishikawa)
12) Create proposal to have GPUS establish a Congressional Oversight Committee. (Kness)
13) Discuss the FasTracks proposal. Decide whether or not to endorse it.
