1) Progressive Cafe - Mark Sweitzer and Kell Carey
Sweitzer and Carey presented information on the "Progressive
Cafe", which is
a gathering of Progressives from all political flavors. The Cafes
meeting in
several cities each week. For a schedule and more information, see:

Review of upcoming events - Lanny Kness
The meeting reviewed the list of upcoming September and October events.
We
still need commitments on:
- Tabling at Aurora Community College (9/30, 10/5, 10/8, 10/13)
McCool may be able to help with this.
- Speaking at the Denver Academy High School
We need someone to volunteer and organize these efforts! Kness will
put out
an up dated calendar.
3)
Proposal for Endorsement of FasTracks - Lanny Kness
Before considering the proposal, it was first agreed on that all the
3 metro
Denver locals would vote as a block, and either support, oppose, or
take no
stand together on this issue. On the specific proposal for endorsement,

supported it, 3 stood aside, and 3 blocked during consensus seeking.
No
additional vote was taken. The proposal was not passed.

Proposal to endorse the Police Oversight proposal (Denver Greens Only)

Rick VanWie
VanWie presented a proposal for the DGP to endorse the "Civilian
Oversight
of the Denver Uniformed Officers" proposal developed by Mayor
Hickenlooper
and the Denver City Council. The proposal was agreed on by consensus
of the
DGP, and therefore the DGP endorses this proposal. VanWie is going
to create
a press release.
