The
fastest-growing political party in the United States is the Green
Party. You can be a part of this revitalization of our political process
by registering to vote as a member of the Green Party.
The
Green Party of Colorado is in the middle of a statewide voter registration
drive. The goal is to have 20,000 registered Greens in Colorado by
the 2004 election. So after you register Green, encourage your friends
and family to do so as well. Remember, your ideas and opinions should
matter to your representatives. Help America's progressive voice be
heard in Washington by joining with other progressives and registering
Green.
You
can download and print out a Colorado
voter registration form right here. Fill out the information and
mail it to the election commission in the county where you live. All
county addresses are listed on the form.
You
can also download an absentee
voter registration form. This form registers you to receive absentee
ballots in the mail for the elections you choose.
Important
Note:
Under the new voting rules of the Help America Vote Act, you are required
to put your social security number on the voter registration form.
If you mail in your registration form, you will be asked for proof
of your identity when you show up at the polls, so be sure to bring
your Colorado driver's license. If you mail in an absentee form, you
will be required to submit a copy of your driver's license when you
mail in your ballot.
